The British Royal Mint minted 1908, 2 Pound Gold Coins to coincide with the 100th Anniversary of the London Olympics.
The centenary of the first Olympic Games to be held in London falls in 2008 and the Royal Mint is delighted to be striking a commemorative 2 Pound coin in celebration of the sporting achievements of the athletes whoe competed at that 4th Olympiad.
It feautures a reverse design specially created for the 2008 commemorative coin.
