Mandela/de Klerk 5-Coin Proof Set 2007

When Nelson Mandela bade farewell to Parliament five years after he was sworn in as South Africa's first democratically elected President, he urged South Africans never to forget their past, but to use it as a tool in overcoming the challenges still facing the country. FW de Klerk, who retired from politics in 1997, praised all South Africans for their role in bringing about change in the country, asking them to join hands for further socio-economic transformation, saying the challenges were still huge.

This fantastic piece of history is currently the second official coin from SA Mint with Mandela's bust on it and will definitely show some appreciation much to the likes of its predecessor, The Mandela Democracy coin. This set is unique in the way that you are getting 5 coins, and also unique in the way that this is the first time in history that a coin has two ex-presidents on it.
