This coin was a rendering from the cow that was designed by the artist Annali Cabano-Dempsey who is a practicing artist in South Africa. The cubism and simplification of form in Picasso’s work inspired this artist to produce this design in the cubist style, with references to the weird and wonderful African continent.
It is a 1oz Coin, minted by the Perth Mint, in association with the Cow Parade. All scoins are 1oz 24k gold and each design has a limited mintage of 100 units.
